I was born and raised in the Indianapolis area as the youngest of three children belonging to two high school math teachers. As a lifelong United Methodist, I have never had a time when God wasn’t part of my life even though there were times where my proximity to God was closer… and farther away. I accepted my call to serve God while on a mission trip before my senior year of high school.

I met my wife Elizabeth in seminary and we have had a great time serving churches all over Indiana while raising our three children. We celebrate being the lead pastor family of Lafayette Christ UMC since 2019 and look forward to many years of working together to make new and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world with you.

My favorite thing to do is to set people free to make the world more like God dreams it could be.
