LTHC Homeless Services needs your help! At the Engagement Center, we provide services to individuals, families, and Veterans who are currently experiencing homelessness. We offer resources to meet their basic needs -- such as meals, lockers, showers, and "stuff." That "stuff is why I'm writing today, our shelves are bare and we can really use your help.
Our most needed items are men's boxers (sizes S-L), women's panties (sizes 5-9), adult socks, and travel-sized shampoo, body wash, and deodorant. You can click on the link below to be taken straight to our Amazon wish list.
In the month of July, we enrolled over 60 new individuals in our services (plus 20 new families). We continue to see a steady increase in the number of people who are coming into homelessness and we continue to run into the challenge of not having enough affordable housing in our community so that we can discharge people from services.
