Our purpose is to provide a caring, sharing atmosphere in which your child can grow emotionally, physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually.
We are an outreach ministry of Christ United Methodist Church dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment for your child. All PreSchool and Mom’s Timeout classes are taught and supervised by experienced and caring Christian teachers. Our teachers are either experienced in early childhood education, and/or hold degrees in elementary/early childhood education.
We admit children regardless of any religion, race, color, creed and national and ethnic origin. Policies of CUMC Early Learning are set by a Board of Directors consisting of church members, the Early Learning Director, and parent representatives.
It is our vision that when your children leave our program, we have given them …
- A better understanding of who Jesus is and how He loves them.
- An enhanced self-concept and social skills through play, adventure and investigation.
- A head start to be ready for church, school, and academic success.
- Unconditional love.

We are pleased and excited to announce that CUMC Early Learning has achieved Level 3 in Paths to QUALITY™, Indiana’s voluntary quality rating and improvement system. We have been working to make quality improvements within our program and are proud of our achievements. In addition to creating an environment that promotes children’s learning, we are using a planned curriculum to meet your child’s learning needs. In order to reach Level 3 we have committed to improve program quality for your child by:
- planning activities that lead to school readiness
- participating in additional training and education
- inviting families to be part of program activities
- evaluating and improving our program to provide the best care for your child
You can be confident that as a Paths to QUALITY Level 3 program, we will be meeting the State’s standards for health and safety.
