Hello to all of you at Christ United Methodist Church. My name is Heather Kill and yes, that is my real last name! Let me tell you a little bit about me. I am originally from a small town in Minnesota (where all of my family is now) and was raised on a farm. I graduated from Crown College in St. Bonifacious, MN in 2000 and that is where God called me into youth ministry and I cannot imagine myself doing anything different. I love working with, talking to, and hanging out with teenagers. They have freshness and such an open outlook on life that so many people lose as they get older. My job as youth director is to take that freshness and openness and point it to Jesus. I have moved to Lafayette from Wilmington, DE where I worked as the youth director in my previous church for six years. In July 2007 I heard God calling me to stretch my wings and move onto something new. And when God speaks, I have found that it is better to listen and obey than not because his plans are so much better than mine!
